Fields of Breath

Fields where colour does not fill the space, but allows it to breathe. Poppies rise, bend and gradually dissolve into air, traces and movement. Sometimes they remain as vivid signs, at other times barely perceptible — as if their presence continues beyond what can be seen. The series follows the quiet rhythm of nature, yet it does not describe a particular place. It searches for the moment when a field ceases to be merely a landscape and becomes a feeling.

Silent Poppies

Works on Paper

Here, the poppy is freed from the field, from the horizon and from everything that would transform it into a landscape. What remains is only line, colour and empty space. Created with delicate layers of coffee pigment and acrylic, the forms rise, bend and move away from one another like quiet gestures, captured in the moment before they disappear. Within this restraint, every movement gains meaning, while emptiness ceases to be a background and becomes part of the image itself.
