About

“When I dream, I paint.
When I paint, I dream.”

Through richly layered surfaces, material contrasts, and a refined painterly sensibility, Kamen Trifonov creates spaces that extend beyond direct observation. Exploring the shifting relationships between memory, light, and imagination, his works open onto parallel worlds, lyrical landscapes, and inner territories where the real and the imagined gradually intertwine. Rather than offering fixed narratives, they invite slow contemplation, allowing the experience to unfold through atmosphere, materiality, and silence.

Kamen Trifonov graduated from the National High School of Stage and Screen Arts in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and later earned a Master's degree in Graphic Design from the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts “Prof. Asen Diamandiev” in the same city.

Over two decades of continuous artistic practice, he has developed a distinctive and coherent visual language in which abstraction reveals the emotional essence of reality, while lyricism brings a quiet inner strength. His works have been presented in national and international exhibitions and art fairs and are held in private collections around the world.
